Case Study

Euro Cucina

Euro Cucina specialises in the design, manufacture, supply, and delivery of beautiful kitchens and wardrobes which are manufactured to the highest quality.

Brief

As a growing business with several different departments, employing teams of innovative employees and growing constantly, Euro Cucina wanted to check with a Microsoft partner that they’re using the best suited licences for their requirements.

They asked us to evaluate what they needed from Microsoft 365 and to make sure their licences are the most cost effective, with the capacity to provide the service features and security that they need.

An important request from them was that any changes would need to ensure minimum disruption to business.

Solution

After carefully reviewing the clients service requirements, we identified that they could save a considerable amount of money by changing their Microsoft subscription – Due to Microsoft changes, a package is now available that provides the same Microsoft apps, tools, and features they need but at a much lower annual cost. We advised them to switch from Microsoft 365 Apps for Enterprise to Microsoft 365 Apps for Business.

Using our Microsoft partner account, we then set up and assigned the new licences to Euro Cucina’s Microsoft account.

The next step was to change the version of Microsoft Office installed across multiple devices for all of their employees. To ensure minimal disruption to users, we developed an automated script and deployed it using our RMM (remote monitoring and management) service to change their Microsoft Office package to Apps for Business. This meant we were able to silently deploy the software in the background, on a large scale. We could also do so quickly, all whilst requiring less internet bandwidth than would normally be required.

After the software changes, we then reviewed the security configuration of Microsoft 365 to make sure the relevant protections were in place.

Result

Due to our planning, scheduling and script writing skills, there was no disruption to their business during the changes.

And due to our knowledge of Microsoft 365, the client now benefits from annual savings on their Microsoft 365 licensing and is subscribing to a package that meets their business size (less than 300 people) and their subsequent needs.

Their new Microsoft plan ensures they’re in a good space for future cloud migrations, with increased security in mind too.

The benefits of Microsoft Apps for Business include:

  • Access files anywhere
  • Secure cloud storage
  • Improved communication
  • Predictable cost
  • Business continuity
  • Automatic upgrades
  • Centralised collaboration
  • Security changes have been made to protect client data and online identity

Efficiency is incredibly important for all businesses. Being able to create, collaborate and communicate seamlessly makes any organisation more effective. Having access to productivity tools that enable people to do their jobs more easily – and from anywhere – makes organisations agile and lets them compete in their sector.

Microsoft 365 offers a productivity suite with tools such as Word, Exchange, Excel, SharePoint, Teams and more. Because Microsoft 365 is cloud-based, the full-featured experience can be accessed from anywhere, on any device, as long as they’re online. The tools in 365 complement each other and work together seamlessly, so it’s a must-have for any business.
